Making automated retail accessible to everyone
Swesan Vending is a vending and automated retail company based in Ontario, Canada, founded by Swesan Pathmanathan.
We started with a simple observation: the biggest barrier to starting a vending route isn't finding a location or stocking snacks — it's the $4,000–$6,000 it costs to buy a machine before you've sold a single chocolate bar. So we built a leasing model that removes that barrier, letting entrepreneurs test real locations with options as low as $0/month — while keeping 100% of their revenue.
At the same time, we run a traditional full-service operation for businesses that just want the amenity without the work. We place machines for free at offices, gyms, apartment buildings, and warehouses, then handle every restock and repair ourselves.
Two models, one goal: vending that works for the people on both sides of the machine.
